A training program on Basic Life Support (BLS), which includes Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) techniques, was conducted at the VET College located in the town of Vizhuppuram for the training instructors of the VET educational group. The district president of the association, Dr. Thangaraj, presided over the event. The college principal, Mr. Murugan, graced the occasion. Mr. Maruthamavalavan, the correspondent of the state’s Nursing Home portal, spoke about the activities of the Indian Medical Association and medical services. The district secretary, Dr. Saundararajan, and Medical Officer Dr. Saranya conducted the training session, explaining the methods and benefits of the primary care techniques. Approximately more than 100 training instructors attended and benefited from the training.
