Today, the Red Cross and the Indian Medical Association held a blood donation camp at Mugaiyur village, Vizhupuram district. 65 people voluntarily participated in it. The local council president, Edward Francis, was present for the function. The district coordinator, S. Maruthu Saundararajan, the state manager of Nursing Home Products, German Maruthamavallavan, the chairman of the Red Cross, and Narsingh Home were among the organizers. There were medical experts from the association in attendance, including Sivaganga, Dr. Joseph Premkumar, Dr. Vidhya Devi, and Mugaiyur Village Medical Officer Sukumaran. The Government Medical College received the blood that had been collected. The college also presented certificates of appreciation to the blood donors.
